Mélissa Bodereau, founder of Oenanim
A winegrowers’ daughter, I have always been passionate about wine. Yet I began my career in finance and accounting. But my deep love of wine soon led me to change course. After studying oenology, I worked as a consultant for winemakers who share my values: authenticity and terroir.
From then on, the idea of designing wine courses in Bordeaux, directly on a wine estate, combining meeting winemakers with a technical approach to tasting, became obvious to me. Oenanim was born. Today, our events activity is centralised at Château Balestard La Tonnelle in Saint-Émilion, where you can take wine courses or enjoy a more playful discovery with a wine escape game followed by an introduction to oenology.
Through Oenanim, I want to take the awkwardness out of wine and make it accessible to everyone by tasting and having fun. Our approach, built on humour, sensations and playful learning, naturally led us to develop group activities, especially for companies (incentives and team-building activities). Thanks to our wine workshops in Bordeaux and Saint-Émilion and to original, inventive and creative activities, we will be happy to give you a moment of sharing and conviviality with our team of dynamic, passionate hosts.
